This is sick. Fuck you never see this. I think the deck was cold or the game was rigged. Jeez.... Why throw the kings out? WTF. Worst play I've seen in a long time.

@bizzyb0ne017 I've cashed in 11 of the last 12 tourney's I've played. That may not be anywhere near a record, but I do think it validates that I'm not just shooting opinions out of my ass. This afternoon I stacked a donk playing cute with rockets. He decided to slow play his hand and so i just checked into the hand from BB with Q-7. Flop came 5-8-Q. He put up 1x, I called. Turn dropped 7. He checked, I put in 5x, he pushed, I called. Riv brought a rag and he kept his appointment with the rail.

I just finished this night's live cash game. On the table next to me with 10 players there was one hand with AA vs KK vs QQ vs JJ. On the board there was one Q and one J.

Who is the finish person?

@ZWILD1 Eh, 3x is a standard raise. 5x is pretty much bigger than a pot raise. And even a pot raise is gigantic. Unless you are playing at the most loose table in history that is. 5x is what is called an over bet. But hey, everyone has different play styles and over bets aren't necessarily a bad thing all the time. Some times they can work out perfect.

@bizzyb0ne017 In a live game 5x for KK is definitely the standard. Online, it's a different story. 5x will not discourage most ace-face combo's, and won't deter looser players with ace-rag. In most online tourneys, 5x will be interpreted as a weak raise and will probably bring a reraise from anyone holding 7-7 or better, as well as most unpaired aces.

@ZWILD1 5x is not a standard raise, 5x is a huge raise!

@ZWILD1 Einstein finally decides to put 500 chips in the middle and I Insta-Push. He calls and and flips over rockets. DOH!! Had he protected his cards with so much as a minimum raise, I would've mucked my garbage so fast it would've caused a rift to open in the time-space continuum. He got what he deserved and I doubt he will ever limp with major holdings again.
